Both Shaggy and Fred have alternate faces while the zombie had two buttons on the back of his head which alludes to the fact that the zombie is nothing more than a man in a mask.

This case is flat-packed and assembled by screwing together the front and back acrylic panels with the sides, using 8 screws provided. Fred has a shocked face whereas Shaggy has a slightly quizzical “I don’t think this is a good idea” expression going on, which fit the theme of the set. That said, the Spooky Tree actually looks pretty attractive thanks to the huge sticker that runs across its bark, primitive looking mecha-inspired hands and of course, a spot for the Zombie to ride it. The Mystery Machine is fantastic, the tree is meh, the figures are great – and a third different designed Scooby Doo. For play features, I was delighted to discover that the back of the Mystery Machine opens up in a very doll-house like manner to reveal a tightly designed interiors with plenty of cool little Easter Eggs.

Eight stickers on each side of the van should be a sign of just how many stickers get used in this model, though as I said, the stickers are a necessary evil here as look how great that van looks when stickered up! Will Scooby-Doo, Fred and Shaggy avoid getting trapped in the branches of the spooky tree and reach the van in time? I believe that there are 23 stickers in total, but thankfully most of them are relatively easy to apply. I found it interesting the while cover does not rotated, while the van can be pushed along, it also creates an illusion of the wheels not moving.It's not often that I have early access to LEGO, so I took advantage of my opportunity and tracked down a full set (with help from my wife) by feeling the packs. Also, like with most of the previous sets we are back to the common - uncommon - rare designation for the various figures. At first glance, I was excited because the shade of green made me believe that his face and arms were glow in the dark (they look exactly like glow in the dark stars) but alas they’re just regular plastic. We made a full trip of it by spending two days at the theme park and the night in-between at the LEGOLAND hotel ( an experience which I reviewed here ).
