The stands are biased to keep all energy in alignment with the speaker cones, providing greater clarity and focus. When I shoot an event in my church’s dim basement, I like ISO 800 films, or maybe Tri-X 400 overexposed by a stop. For that reason, ISO can help you capture images in darker environments, or be more flexible about your aperture and shutter speed settings.

Because we cannot use software to improve light sensitivity while we take the photo…we can’t even change ISO between frames!

For most photos you won't see a difference between ISO 100 and 200 in the final image; 200 is still very low noise.
If you want to tilt down, insert either two of the short or two of the long inserts into the back tubes. When I shoot documentary in good light I reach for ISO 100 films because the grain really is reduced. Well one question remains: Why is it, that rasing ISO in-camera (almost instantly with only a small processor) produces better results than making the picture brighter later on the computer with all it’s hi-tech software and offline processing power? Removing your monitors from the surface they rest upon gives the monitor and it’s housing a chance to float independently, thus reducing the energy created from exciting its usual supporting surface.
