About this deal

The stands are biased to keep all energy in alignment with the speaker cones, providing greater clarity and focus. When I shoot an event in my church’s dim basement, I like ISO 800 films, or maybe Tri-X 400 overexposed by a stop. For that reason, ISO can help you capture images in darker environments, or be more flexible about your aperture and shutter speed settings.

You can change your choices at any time by visiting Cookie preferences, as described in the Cookie notice. I once read an article that ISO 200 was the lowest sensitivity available in film and therefore ISO 100 in a digital camera doesn't mean anything.

Because we cannot use software to improve light sensitivity while we take the photo…we can’t even change ISO between frames!

Kodak Gold 200 Film is a low-speed colour negative film that offers an outstanding combination of colour saturation, fine grain, and high sharpness.

For most photos you won't see a difference between ISO 100 and 200 in the final image; 200 is still very low noise.

If you want to tilt down, insert either two of the short or two of the long inserts into the back tubes. When I shoot documentary in good light I reach for ISO 100 films because the grain really is reduced. Well one question remains: Why is it, that rasing ISO in-camera (almost instantly with only a small processor) produces better results than making the picture brighter later on the computer with all it’s hi-tech software and offline processing power? Removing your monitors from the surface they rest upon gives the monitor and it’s housing a chance to float independently, thus reducing the energy created from exciting its usual supporting surface. In times of film photography there was a rule to either use ISO 100 film (or even great Velvia 50) which usually had considerably less grain noise than ISO 400 film.Taking the place of IsoAcoustics’ previous L8R200 model, the ISO-200 sports a lower profile design, even sleeker curves and features improved isolating components for even better results. An important aspect of the speaker stand design is the ability to adjust the height and tilt angle of the supported speaker enclosure to optimize its position relative to the listener and eliminate soundwave reflections off the supporting surface. This was probably where film sensitivity first came to be described as ‘speed’ - because the spot would appear faster in a ‘faster’ - more sensitive - glass plate. As to film, I used to normally use either 50 or 200, rarely 100 and 400, and never regretted it, until Fuji released Velvia 100 which is the last film I used in bulk, and never regretted the choice. IsoAcoustics introduce the next evolution of their specialized line of speaker stands for the audio professional, music hobbyist, audiophile, and music lover.
