The book, which will be published in 15 languages, is illustrated by renowned French artist Jean Jullien. Okay had to make that pun but in all seriousness, such a beautifully illustrated and educational book for young minds!

The words were written by my husband John and it makes me so happy to see them illustrated in this beautiful book. In one of Jullien’s beautiful illustrations, the pigeon is shown breaking up squabbles amongst other birds, who are fighting over religion. Lennon's marriage and collaboration with artist Yoko Ono inspired his iconic peace anthem "Imagine".

A lot has been written about the creation of the song, the album and the film of Imagine, mainly by people who weren’t there, so I’m very pleased and grateful that now, for the first time, so many of the participants have kindly given their time to ‘gimme some truth’ in their own words and pictures. One of my favorite parts is how each animal is labeled with a number that's linked to a key at the end of the book! Here, the effect is rather contemplative though, and I did enjoy Jullien's artwork, done in brush and ink, and then completed digitally.
