Likewise on the book’s biggest historical points – none bigger than the JFK assassination, a topic on which mountains of prose have been written.An immigrant family that thrives with the utmost determination to become truly relevant in the United States.

As JFK once said "A nation reveals itself not only by the men it produces but also by the men it honors, the men it remembers. I was the only black girl making white girl money,” she boasts, telling a vibrant story about sex and struggle in a bygone era.
