I’m not a fan of straight whisky so I won’t try and go into detail of something I have little experience of but what I can say is even if you’re not a fan of straight whisky, but you do like sweet drinks, then this is a great middle ground of the two.Highland Nectar is a beautiful marriage of Scotch whisky with infusions of bitter orange, star anise, nutmeg, vanilla, ginger and cinnamon. Highland Nectar is rich and velvety with notes of cinnamon, cloves, vanilla pods, honey, eucalyptus and nutmeg. Un-examined or un-checked goods that result in a subsequent claim outside of a 48 hour period will not be accepted. An XL-sized milk churn of excellent quality cream liqueur, made with a base of tasty single malt from Benriach distillery (one of our favourites), and smooth Dutch cream. It's warming but has enough of a light touch to work in summer months, particularly when put in a highball with lemonade or ginger ale. On the palate the flavour starts with candied ginger, orange peel, allspice, maple syrup and a whisper of star anise.

Opening the bottle presents your nostrils with a weak smell of whisky, which was surprising as I was expecting a stronger smell.
