Designed to free up lots of the controls of Serato when using it as a DVS system, the DDJ-SP1 is the first such controller from Pioneer DJ. The Parameter arrows select the loop length ranges for the pads; total loop length range is 1/32 to 32 beats. With an excellent layout supported by a shift layer, the DDJ SP1 provides a handy way to upgrade the control and pad sections of your SX mixer. The Performance Pads includes Velocity Mode which allows the user to manage the sample volume dependent upon the applied pressure. The shorter loop lengths make for instant gratification, because Loop Roll triggers a loop for as long as you hold down a pad, after which the track playback continues (as if you were in Slip Mode). Performance Pads – Sixteen Performance Pads on the sub-controller for seven different functions including Hot Loop, Auto Loop, Manual Loop, Hot Cue, Roll, Slicer, and Sampler. The plug-in is compatible with Serato DJ, Scratch Live and ITCH, that makes it extremely easy for users to insert video, effects and image files with music.
