EFFECT: Until the end of the phase, all models in your unit have a 6+ invulnerable save and have the Benefit of Cover. Each time a model in this unit would lose a wound as a result of a mortal wound, roll one D6: on a 6, that wound is not lost.

Until that ADEPTUS CUSTODES unit has finished making those shooting attacks, each time a model in that unit makes an attack, subtract 1 from that attack’s hit roll. If you do so, then in the Reinforcements step of one of your Movement phases you can set up this unit anywhere on the battlefield that is more than 9" away from any enemy models.

If you require a service that is fully tracked you must either select the Courier or the International Tracked option.

Select one ADEPTUS CUSTODES unit from your army that has the Martial Ka’tah ability, then select one ka’tah stance that is not active for your army. TARGET: One ADEPTUS CUSTODES unit from your army that is below its Starting Strength and has not been selected to fight this phase. Level of Control: Add together the OC characteristics of all of a player’s models within range of the objective marker. While two enemy models are within Engagement Range of each other, those models’ units are also within Engagement Range of each other. As well as the Vexilus Praetor, the kit also makes 4 Custodian Wardens, or 3 Custodian Wardens and a Shield-Captain.

In addition, if a unit is Battle-shocked when it is selected to Fall Back, you must take a Desperate Escape test for every model in that unit before any are moved. Stance 2: Each time this unit makes a Normal Move or Advances in your Movement phase, in your following Shooting phase, it counts as having Remained Stationary. If a unit that Advanced this turn contains any models equipped with Assault weapons, it is still eligible to shoot in this turn’s Shooting phase. If it is your opponent’s Movement phase, subtract an equivalent number of inches from that enemy unit’s Move characteristic for this phase (to a minimum of 0"). The kit can optionally build a Shield-Captain, who has a choice of 2 bare heads, a unique chest plate, unique shoulder pads and his own set of ceremonial robes – he is armed with the choice of castellan axe and guardian spear, and holds a misericordia.
