Inspired by the roast potato, we’ve created a savoury vodka that marries the flavours of freshly picked Cornish rosemary, grown at The Eden Project, with fresh bay from our kitchen garden, and the warmth of black pepper. To this day the family have continued to grow crops to sell the public, alongside bringing us their beautiful spirits! Five generations later and Stafford's great, great grandsons have created Cornwall's first vodka spirit. Fresh cask products should be opened within 2 days of receipt and consumed within 3 days of opening them.

Crafted in small batches from the Colwith Farm Distillery delicious Cornish potatoes, this vodka is distilled forty times before being blended with mineral water lifted from the distillery’s aquifer. It pairs beautifully with roast lamb, Mediterranean vegetables and fruits from the English countryside hedgerows and orchards – such as raspberries, blackberries, and apples. This savoury vodka marries the flavours of Cornish rosemary and bay with the added warmth of black pepper.Distilled and blended with mineral water from an aquifer beneath the farm, the vodka has a smooth and creamy flavour.

With some of the best produce in the world on offer we knew we wanted a flavour that spoke of our County. This tradition has remained and potatoes form the base of the family's first ever premium spirits - Aval Dor Vodka and Aval Dor Gin. The result is this bright and fragrant craft vodka with vivid lemon sherbet notes on the nose and palate and a luxuriously sweet and creamy mouthfeel. Having grown up by the coast, with salt in the air and being surrounded by a plethora of craft Cornish products we have been inspired to create something of our own which encompasses us and our county.This Cornish vodka has won the prestigious double gold medal for two consecutive years at the San Francisco World Spirits Competition 2020 and 2021. Lovingly distilled in our state of the art distillery and blended with mineral water from an aquifer beneath the farm, the smooth and creamy flavour of Aval Dor can be tasted in every sip. Driven by a desire to make the perfect vodka for espresso martini, Colwith Farm Distillery's Head Distiller was inspired to infuse Fairtrade Organic Bourbon Vanilla pods with our award winning potato vodka. This spectacular vodka from Colwith Farm has now won the prestigious Double Gold Medal for three consecutive years at the San Francisco World Spirits Competition- 20, 21, and 22, elevating Aval Dor Vodka to the rare and very prestigious Platinum Award.

Taste of the West Gold award-winning Cornish Dry Gin is combined with fresh rhubarb and ginger to make Aval Dor. Dowr is a bright and smooth vodka, which has been gently double distilled from the copper pot still in small batches. They’ve made huge strides to be as sustainable as we possibly can be - with their distillery powered entirely by renewable energy - but this would mean nothing if they weren’t producing a world class vodka.
