The low clouds blocked most of the sunlight and although there some gaps where the colors could come through. As the light travels through the atmosphere, the blue light rays scatter more than when the sun is directly overhead.

For sunrise, I need to decide the night before whether I’m going to get up early and for sunset I need at least an hour of lead time for local shoots.
