About this deal
When layered with something smoky like Asdaaf's Majd al Sultan, or a sandalwood heavy oriental, this fragrance is not just tolerable- it becomes quite lovely actually. If I had to describe it, I'd say that Wish is the younger second cousin of Angel who is quieter and lives somewhere beachy and more tropical. It's woodier, a bit airier, powdery, and there's a tropical freshness from the fruits and florals in the opening.
I'm a re-applier so this does have to be reapplied for me, lol It has moderate projection, great for wearing to work. It does have a similar vibe to it but Angel is a bit more dirty (in a good way though) and slightly more creamy. I don't get any of the lovely caramel, toffee, milk, honey, or any of those decadent notes I wanted.the lasting power is very good but the sillage is not the best in the world unfortunately, or maybe i just got nose blind for it. Let's start with the obvious: TM Angel was such a success that it literally redirected the entire development of the perfume industry 'for her'. This is the first thing that came to mind when i smelled Wish; an old vintage patchouli scented soap with hints of dark chocolate. If, however, a comparison with "Angel" needs to be made, I would say that "Wish" is definitely more refined and delicate. Sillage: mysterious; sometimes it projects and fills a room but other times it sits close to the skin.
I think that the comparisons are mostly psychological and due to the fact that Angel and Wish are both blue colored perfumes in similar looking bottles.I am continually surprised by the complexity of Wish and by which notes are brought forward by the weather.
