About this deal

Anyways, I know life can be tough and knock you down and living in England doesn't help, but man was the Dad useless. Flora 'Floss' Barnes' mother and father split up when she was little and she wishes they'd get back together because she doesn't like her step-father, Steve, and her little half-brother Tiger.

Her family is a bit all over the place; Floss’s mother has remarried to a flashy guy and has had a son with him (‘Tiger’). A brilliantly evocative portrait of modern life featuring an engaging heroine, Floos, from the mega bestselling Jacqueline Wilson.her mum is moving to australia with her new husband steve but floss decides to stay at home with her dad in his greasy spoon cafe. I'm sure there's heaps more of things that bothered me but let's move onto the positive things: bisexual-coded bracelets and Susan. Flora ' Floss' Barnes' mother and father split up when she was little and she wishes they'd get back together because she doesn't like her step-father, Steve, and her little half-brother Tiger.

Jacqueline's books include The Story of Tracy Beaker, which has become a hugely successful BBC TV series; Girls in Love, which together with its two sequels was filmed for ITV television; and Double Act, which she adapted for Channel 4 and which won the Royal TV Society's Best Children's Fiction Award.Floss also has her best friend, Rhiannon, who isn't much of a friend – making fun of her and her father and starting cruel rumours about Floss's mother walking out on Floss. Later, Susan goes to stay in her house in France and says farewell to Floss at the beginning of summer. As well as winning many awards for her books, including the Children's Book of the Year, Jacqueline is a former Children's Laureate, and in 2008 she was appointed a Dame.

Tentu Floss diajak, tapi ia menolak karena merasa ayahnya ngga punya siapa-siapa lagi kalau dia pindah sejauh itu.The Best Sleepover in the World is the long-awaited sequel to Jacqueline Wilson's hugely popular book Sleepovers! Everything seems good in her life until her birthday comes, her Mum announces that they are moving to Australia! Floss's school uniforms get dirtier and dirtier and disarrayed as her father is not used to washing and ironing them, but her teacher, Mrs Horsefield, helps her out, as Floss is one of her personal favourite students. I feel like publishers are underestimating an American kid by making the change that serves no purpose -- especially since it's such a British story. He was so bloodily self-unaware up until maybe 84% of the book and why was he always coming to his 11-year old daughter for assurance.

Floss lives with her mum, step-dad and half-brother Tiger, but when they announce that they’re moving to Australia, she faces a dreadful decision. He gets a job offer in Australia in the beginning of the book, where him and the family get to stay there for 6 months while he works. He has produced over sixty of his own titles, including much-loved favourites Ketchup on Your Cornflakes and Shark in the Park. I know her audience is supposed to younger but I'm still loving these books and I can't wait to read the rest I have on mount tbr.
