Street odours are from last century indeed- urinal smell, some dirtiness and confusion, fried chips whiffs and stale beer. I know there are also clones available with a closer profile to the old school stuff if you can find them. On clothes it still had that urine vibe while on skin it had a nice sweet jasmine and lavender smell.

Very nice, a bit sweeter than classic Brut sold in green bottles (probably more vanilla), it is fairly cheap and you need to overspray to get some longevity and projection (but overspraying works with this one). It reminds me of early mornings 6am, in the late 1960's and early 70's when my Uncle would get ready for work. It's been a long since Brut is not in people taste, so I will grab a bottle and wear it, if someone ask I will say it's something from Amouage or Creed or something really expensive. I'm 30+ and find it unwearable, although it gives me some vague emotional associations from my early childhood. The scent profile, as said, is identical to the vintage stuff; the main difference is the vintage is much more floral and it had more aniseed herbal touch. Ten seconds later, it goes to a wonderful, high quality Jasmine which dominates for a good forty five minutes. I'm afraid I can't count original Old Spice alongside it because it's reformulation is even paler than Brut's.And I believed so, until when recently I consistently retested on an a everyday use Brut, in a completely different context, and after more than a decade of disillusionment about the current rendition (so strange are our senses, and our mind in processing information! The splash is very watered down and almost not detecable when splashed on your body but thats my opinion. One guy said in one of his reviews, that his girlfriend told him, that this smells better than everything else he owns.
