Her non-stop body-shaming is not only annoying to me as a reader of a romance book but it is also insulting for all women out there in real life who don’t look like a super model. So yeah, if you are in the mood for a romcom that has the perfect balance of sweet and spicy, I would recommend this one, in either text or audiobook form. When I was 16 a girl in our Sex Ed class asked the teacher "can you get pregnant from giving a blow job? Not this bullshit where you can tell the characters are MeAnT tO bE but “ugh oh noooooes sex keeps getting in the waaay so hooow will we ever know if our feelings are TrrrruuuuuE. Obviously, these two starts developing feelings for each other, and Freya falls in love with him while he is also in love but in major denial. If you're looking for a fun sports romance that you won't be able to get out of hand, then this is a book for you! She even had to seek reassurance from Mac and her friends to understand that she was beautiful in her own right.I am not surprised about how much I loved this book though because I expect nothing less from this Author.

The first I read was Payback, which was nice because even though this is a stand-alone, Mac's friend and roommate is Roan and Freya's bestie is Allie Harris. There is emotional connection and feelings long before any romantic or sexual attraction happens, and that's just who I am as a person.She’s plus-sized in body and spirit, and other than her friendship with Mac, talking to the opposite sex is one skill she never mastered. One of the things that saved this book from being DNF'd was when Mac decides to leave to go to Glasgow to be with his dying grandfather and the two of them end things on a terrible note and the constant angst between them not having a friendship anymore.
