About this deal

Get yourself some Aquasure wader repair, put the waders on a table, flatten the waders around the tear put something flat and non sticky inside(like a piece of plastic on a book) stretch the waders tight and secure/weight down so they stay flat. For example, they mention it's a fantastic product, well-made, and has studs to fit in the soles of boots. Good luck with your Aldi waders Trev, but the biggest issue for me when wading on slippery rocks is having a good felt or studded sole on the boot. Whats good about a wet suit is that even if you tear them whilst fishing they are not seriously compromised you still stay warm and have your boyancy still. My lot is river fishing with lots of walking and scrambling around through undergrowth, so I guess thats still fairly good value for money?

Interesting as I have had the exact opposite experience to you, had Bison found them ill fitting and the seams leaked after only a few trip also the sole on one boot came away and had to be super glued, got the Rapala Pro ones and use them 4 or 5 times a week, havent had a leak yet apart from a very small one that was my fault when I hooked the knee with a treble. He has put a plastic clip line around each boot to overcome the problem and it works well, but I was told Bison are looking into having them altered to combat this. Mine have been worn while pike fishing, a swim on the local water is one that requires waders to be worn to net fish. Most purchases from business sellers are protected by the Consumer Contract Regulations 2013 which give you the right to cancel the purchase within 14 days after the day you receive the item. Experiment to get your best combination but easy to don, to wear and then to take off when you’re done. Don't delay in telling us if something is wrong - even if you think you can put it right without bothering us. Eventually the abuse they got in amongst all the barnacle covered reefs i fish took their toll and the heels started to come away and let water in. mad) and bison where of no help at all and said its "fair wear and tear" and they would do nothing at all about them.

For just pulling on/off quickly at boat launches, weed cutting etc then Viking pvc for me though I've also got an even cheaper set of Bison pvc and they're fine if a touch thin in the sole. so sent them the pics and said I'll understand if you don't cover them under guarantee and if so can you sell me a wader repair kit suited for these waders. but I would recomend them to anyone wanting a cheap pair of waders although I will probabaly spend a little more next time and hope to get a slightly tougher pair. The best option for me was a pair of bisons, cheap at only a hundred quid with boots and with good reports on here.

dug an old pair of daiwa's out of the garage today, been there for hanging there unused 2 years, they're 6 years old. I have lost good fish messing about putting waders on due to easing off the pressure whilst doing so and after that you think why not just dive in? Diver Dave in Scotland offers a repair service or a seam reinforcement service on new waders, which has received good feedback, and is probably worth the cost if you've splashed out on some Simms. I think half the problem with the budget breathable waders is the fit, the legs are usually not articulated putting extra stress on the seams. Not personally tried these waders before though, but sure I remember reading a couple of reviews of them on here - if any owners want to "wade" in on this?

Tried some Greys this year which I managed to pick up on an offer but I would definitely go for the Bisons again. i bought the waders and boots to gether, they have been fantastic, no leaks at all, and after a nasty fall where i broke my wrist, the bear claw studded boots are just amazing, i have so much more confidence over weedy, kelpy boulders etc. Any breathables used in salt water benefit from a good rinse down in freshwater before they dry out - salt crystallising can cause major issues. I find breathables with propper wader liners much more effective as once your clothes get "damp" under neoprenes you will start to get cold. dug an old pair of daiwa's out of the garage today, been hanging there unused 2 years, they're 6 years old.

In normal speak, this means that you can deep-wade with complete security and you can walk miles in a heat wave! An elastic chestline helps to keep you dry, and also has large inside chest pocket for small fishing items You'll need wad ing shoes or trainers (not included) with these waders. mm neoprene, Cleated rubber boots, Really comfortable neoprene shoulder straps straps Chest pocket, Reinforced Knees Available in sizes 7, 8, 9, 10, 11, 12 and 13.

The following Friday night was warm and muggy and a good 500m hike to the waterside would provide the answer as to whether the material is indeed breathable. well if 15 times worn and the boots literally falling apart is acceptable as "fair wear and tear" i think we are all in trouble. I have worn them out a couple of times, in the night and the day, and i have to say they are amazing.

Okay i did put a 4 rip in the backside but i patched them up but within a trip or two water was poring in though them all over. As with certain other items in my plugging gear,i will not pay silly money, especially for something which has a good chance of getting torn or ripped or punctured. The fabric is waterproof to a hydrostatic pressure of 10,000mm/H2O and breathable to 4,000 g/m/24hr. First pair lasted over a year until I washed them in too hot a wash to repair punctures, then the seams leaked:sad:.
