Avión Tequila is made from blue agave from the highest point in the Los Altos region of Jalisco, Mexico.

This removes all the impurities and traces of particulates which make the tequila taste harsh or burning, and leaves just the smoothest, finest tequila. This unique finishing process imparts even more character unto the tequila, and as a result, Avión Reserva 44 Extra Añejo Tequila has a deep aroma of roasted agave, along with scents of vanilla and light citrus, particularly lemon zest. The savory roasted agave can be distiguished from the vanilla, caramel, and spicy notes imparted by the oak. He wanted to make a meticulously crafted, single-origin tequila that embodied the natural, rich, and roasted flavors of the agave.
