The 1919 has a very distinct "rumy" palate, so if you're in to rum you'll love this, but the flavors are not strong enough to my taste.

The result is a flavourful and exceptionally smooth rum which is pleasingly aromatic with light woody notes of chocolate, spice, vanilla, toasted oak flavours and nuances of tropical fruits that provide a remarkably warm and mellow finish. These rums are aged in charred American oak bourbon barrels for a minimum of 12 years and then skilfully hand-blended and re-casked.
