About this deal

When it gets warmer and I want to carry more fluid I can move the mount up to give the second cage more clearance. The 76 Projects Micro Piggy is intended for all bike use and adds extra carry options in a very simple way.

As a company, they have continually invested in people, equipment, software, and premises which has added genuine value to our business. The Race mount does not have the replaceable insert or the ability to accept camera or light mounts. LinkedIn and 3rd parties use essential and non-essential cookies to provide, secure, analyze and improve our Services, and to show you relevant ads (including professional and job ads) on and off LinkedIn. Although these are different to install than standard tubeless valves, they're not much more difficult.

However, we are always looking for new storage solutions for our adventure rigs, we decided to test the Micro Piggy through the lens of bikepacking. Before launching a product it undergoes rigorous testing by 76 projects, podium bothering racers, daily commuters, and weekend warriors. Projects continues: "Tubeless bike tyres and rims were introduced 20 years ago yet tubeless systems still use the Presta valve standard. Happy place being out the door and in the hills - local or further afield, all is good with two wheels in the dirt.

The 3DPRINTUK costing algorithm is the best we have found on the market as it is geared not only to prototypes but also production quantities. Paul explains the effects of this technology evolution and how it is reflected in the way the business operates. The base platform is 40mm wide by 90mm long and it comes with a 300mm long by 40mm wide velcro strap to secure whatever you need to carry. I used it to carry a spare inner tube and snacks—something that we hungry cyclists never seem to have enough space for. If you're forever finding yourself stuck with clogged-up tubeless valves, or you're just looking into setting up your bike with tubeless tyres, these valves are ideal.I trust it so much now i’ve stopped looking to see if it’s still there at the bottom of every bumpy downhill. More and more manufacturers are adding extra bosses to their bikes which the Little Piggy can bolt to. They improve pumping efficiency and they don't clog up, exactly what's needed in a pair of tubeless valves. Frustrated with floppy bags, worn paintwork and cafe stop faff 76 Projects sought to design a system, a strapless quick release system, for top tube bags/bento boxes/fuel pods.

I tested their strapless top tube bag way back and found this to be a very convienient system for stopping floppy bag syndrome and portability but now they’ve transfered this technology to what most dyed in the wool cyclists would refer to as a saddle bag. Some computer mounts for extensions may claim to be aero, and in isolation in a wind tunnel they maybe, but what about in the real world? it has a small inner pocket for tyre patches or similar and comes with a stabilising strap for extra security, i’ve never used it but you’d might want to if mounting to a downhill/enduro bike maybe? I think my biggest issue is getting tyres to seat when initially setting up so hope the added airflow helps. An added bonus of the Hi Flow design is that airflow through the valve increases significantly, making pumping up your tyres more efficient; this was noticeably easier even when using a standard hand pump. So you’ll need a minimum of one inner tube, a tyre lever to get the tyre bead off one side of the rim, might as well combine that with a multi-tool to save weight and space and a tubeless repair kit to try and plug the hole in the tyre before hand when you go out on a regular ride.
