About this deal

Now anyone know how in the world i'm supposed to log LO in its WEBTOON format into GR in a little bit after I rip through all of, at the very least, Season 1? To calculate the overall star rating and percentage breakdown by star, we don’t use a simple average.

Llego en el tiempo estimado, las ilustraciones son hermosas ✨️, su historia es muy interesante, hace que te metas dentro de la historia. I'm even more excited to get to know more about Hade's past and the route his feelings will take now that the girl of his dreams is his employee. She is raped, gas lighted, blackmailed and more still she’s trying to be who she really is but is being bullied at every turn by those that believe they know best. He had settled for this life as he does not believe anyone could love him given his trauma and his position.

The artwork is rich and dramatic, with gorgeous colors and bold linework, each panel a dreamy treat for the eyes. Persephone and Hades must contend with fresh challenges to their burgeoning love in the fresh and funny second volume of the WEBTOON sensation which reimagines one of the most popular Greek myths in a vibrant contemporary setting. This left a bad taste in my mouth and even though being 19 makes you a legal adult this felt grimy and like the author was trying to hyper-infantilize Persephone. However, she quickly discovered the dark side of her glamorous new home--from the relatively minor gossip threatening her reputation to a realm-shattering violation of her safety by the conceited Apollo--and she's struggling to find her footing in the fast-moving realm of the gods. This is when her life changes and she is unprepared for all that lies ahead her naivety leads her to deal with life in a way she’s not ready for. I could not put this graphic novel down and cannot wait to see more of Persephone and Hades--and the rest of the Lore Olympus pantheon. I for one don't think they understand the underlying thoughts and feeling,s and how the story should be relayed, and are using their bias to tell their version of events. It's just amazing how Zeus's wild affairs were so on point, and Hera being Hera, putting a fair fight every step of the way. Lo malo es que llego con un pequeño rasguño, deberían tener más cuidado a la hora de entregar, pero fuera de eso es muy lindo.

There are a minority of people who claim Rachel isn't putting much effort into her art, not to mention there are people out there taking her art and putting their twist and editing it, claiming to make it better. This full-color edition of Smythe’s original Eisner-nominated webcomic Lore Olympus features a brand-new, exclusive short story, and brings Greek mythology into the modern age in a sharply perceptive and romantic graphic novel. The characters also feel like they have a bit more depth now, and their interactions are all strangely humorous or endearing.Jan ‘22) Read on WEBTOON, but you best believe I’m going to re-read it a million times when the physical copy releases. Lore Olympus is an addictive, romantic gem of a comic, filled with complex, lovable (and hateable) characters. Follow the propulsive love story of two Greek gods, told with lavish artwork and contemporary sensibilities. Volume 2 introduces us to some new characters, such as Hecate finally making an appearance and Thetis showing up for a delightfully snarky encounter with Minthe, but continues the ever-entangling plotline of the Gods with their desires and bad behaviors propelling the plotline. Not only does Rachel Smythe's talent as an illustrator shine in Lore Olympus but also her skill with weaving a steamy, often laugh-out-loud funny, and emotional retelling.

I think I’m into this modern twist on Hades and Persephone and all things Greek lore, because I could not stop reading it. This graphic novel follows Persephone as she tries to find her place in Olympus and continues to develop feelings for Hades. Compared to a 2,000 year old she would still be less worldly and have some naivety instead of making Hades a cradle robber. One fateful night while out she catches the attention of Hades himself who is overcome by her beauty and sadness she’s not like any he’s ever known and she doesn’t fear him. Ci sono sicuramente molte problematiche da affrontare e situazioni da sistemare ma la narrazione risulta interessante e scorrevole.Smythe adapts the story of Persephone and Hades, removing it from its dark origins and building a brand-new epic with her own complex and beautiful characters.
