The new one feels a bit too juvenile for me (late 20s), but this one is sweet and fun while feeling less childish. I got this as a tester, I found the opening very nice but as it dried down it has gotten really earthy on me for some reason.

The magical story continues with the opening of the base with moss, vanilla, tonka beans and praline candies, and in all this splendour, it is easy to feel like a little strange but adorable, light and mysterious fairy. I sprayed it yesterday morning before I started working and received several compliments throughout the day. As it dries down, the earthier notes come forward, the vetiver and ivy, supported by a hint of the liquorice and star anise, vanilla and tonka. It’s really difficult to find the original Apple bottle with perfume most people just want to sell you the empty bottle I guess I got really lucky finding this 50 mills almost full and I’m very happy with my purchase. The new, simplified geometric shape bottle doesn't align with their brand image that they've been maintaining for the last few decades. Monica appreciates that L'Eau d'Issey has polite projection with linear and straightforward performance. That being said, if I were gifted a bottle of this, I would probably keep it and use it up eventually.A delightful duet of opposites reveals the inconstancy of a woman's nature, in which restraint and relaxedness have merged. So this little guy has been one I've had my eye on for a LONG time because it sounded like a dream come true for me.
