Today, the legendary supergroup comprised of Mike Portnoy (Transatlantic, Sons of Apollo), John Petrucci (Dream Theater), Jordan Rudess (Dream Theater), and Tony Levin (King Crimson, Peter Gabriel) are pleased to officially announce that the new album ‘LTE3’ will be released on March 26th, 2021 via InsideOutMusic, twenty-two years after the bands’ last studio album. There is so much going on in the compositions and arrangements that your head will be spinning for days.

sees a short pause until the 6:40 mark when the drums and keys change activity in a very goosebumpity moment. Highlights include the 15 minute epic From Silence to Noise, the ethereal The Misplay (with cellist Marianne DeChastelaine), and the epic piano/mellotron driven ballad Someone Starts To Fade Away (featuring guest vocals from No-Man's Tim Bowness). All image and audio content is used by permission of the copyright holders or their agents, and/or according to fair dealing as per the UK Copyright, Designs and Patents Act 1988. Guitarist/vocalist Roine Stolt, bassist Jonas Reingold, keyboard player/vocalist Tom Brislin, drummer/vocalist Marco Minnemann and vocalist/guitarist Daniel Gildenlöw have a vast reservoir of experience. It begins, again, with floating keyboard synths and effects masterfully accompanying some heavily treated piano notes. Surround Sound versions of the albums “Camel”, “Mirage”, “Music Inspired by The Snow Goose”, “Moonmadness” and “Nude”, as well as new mixes of three concerts; The Marquee Club, London 1974, Hammersmith Odeon 1976 and Hammersmith Odeon 1977 The set also features previously unreleased out-takes from album recording sessions and BBC Radio “In Concert” appearances from 1974, 1975, 1977 and 1981.

Men Who Climb Mountains is a concept album but Barrett isn't spelling it out - you're going to have to work at this one.cm is a wonderful way to add a touch of extra atmospheric charm to your home — the perfect addition for autumn and winter. The legendary Jon Anderson sings on another track, while 'wind ace' Rob Townsend, who plays saxophone and flute with Steve Hackett, is also on therecord. Overall, the vast majority of the tracks have beenworked on and developed by all of us in one way or another. and that is one reason why it could take a while to actually digest what is going on here - it's so easy to lose perspective and just be 'in the music' so to speak.

I have to say that I like it, because it could mean many things, but does not give people preconceptions of what to expect from our music. Another pure masterpiece, "Someone Starts to Fade Away" begins with a very emotionally heart-wrenching STEVE REICH-HAROLD BUDD/BRIAN ENO-like background treated piano and ekyboard wash. the 8:30 mark we are graced with a gorgeous GILMOUR-ish slide guitar solo--which is later doubled in the left channel. The lead synthesier "buzzing bagpipe" sound becomes rather annoying/grating after several minutes; not even the masterful use of synthesized strings and banked voices can seem to overcome this choice for the lead. The group’s third studio record since introducing drummer Mirko DeMaio and keyboardist Zach Kamins into the lineup is a vintage affair in many respects. Unfortunately, the chord selection, melody, harmonies, and theatric presentation are far less engaging than on "SStFA. and also, if you're a fan of Porcpuine Tree already I probably wouldn't need to mention Steven Wilson's first solo release ' Insurgentes '. Making products on demand instead of in bulk helps reduce overproduction, so thank you for making thoughtful purchasing decisions!

With virtually no touring to endeavor upon for the last two years, the band was free to focus on recording new material, as well as reviewing things left on the cutting room floor from previous sessions. The concept is about the way in which some ancient civilisations – for instance, the Mayans, the Egyptians and the Chinese – had technology way beyond what they should have had at the time.

I personally see it as the vast inner oceans of thoughts, dreams, poetry, music, love, fear etc that we all carry with us - within - every day through a lifetime - all that leads to creations like this. There are 11 songs in total, with the versatile Mitchell handling much of the instrumental performance and vocals himself. As I say you're probably best listening for yourself to understand what I'm struggling to describe in words.
