See, you build these separate planks and connect them all via hinge bricks, so it looks like a railroad track.

It's neat that there are some moving parts to this and he was able to follow the instructions pretty much all by himself. I would've been alright with just the sword-fighting trio, but the fish guy was a very nice addition. I think Lego shouldn't spend so much time and money on figs, and concentrate on making the sets as good as they can. The end result is great, though -- the mill wheel sits on an indentation on the base, and there's a level that lets you pop it up so it rolls away freely. I was very skeptical about the interior and the patchiness of the building when I saw the first pictures of it. The body of the Ferrari car is protected as Ferrari property under trade dress and/or design regulations.I'm not sure if someone has already noticed this, but it seems that only "On Stranger Tides" sets come with character cards. I love LEGO, so I knew I would like the LEGO Pirates Of The Caribbean: The Mill, the detail that has been put into the characters and landscapes is amazing. Small pieces are used to give the walls a texture (a common feature in recent Lego sets); there are also stickers which are printed with rock overlays.
