At five months he is still not able to twist the seat 360 degrees himself but sure he will be able to soon. LeapFrog Learn and Groove Activity Station is an interactive, stationary activity centre that rewards every movement with music, sounds, lights and dance beats. It also needed to be a toy that didn't require me to sit with him and watch him all of the time (in the way you would a door-bouncer, etc). My 17-month-old is not very tall but still has to bend slightly to use the musical table, which could be slightly uncomfortable when using it for quite a while.

There are lots of bright colours, lights, chunky buttons, songs, it has 2 levels of volume and 2 language settings, English and French, and can be used in song or alphabet and number settings. However, it may be a problem if you are really tight on space and looking to pack it away each night. It can be used with or without the legs, so can function either as a musical pad or a musical table.Play the Count-a-pillar game to practise counting to 20 or tap drums to play along to the ABC song, letter by letter.
