It definitely smells a lot more expensive than it will set you back for, and the scent trail is fantastic. As soon as it is sprayed, Lagerfeld Classic brings a scent of overripe orange, with a peculiar sourness and a very powerful aroma of citrus peels. There’s a lot in this and it could take a few wearings to really appreciate its full power and beauty. I would always break off a leaf from the Black Sage that grew on the hillsides all up and down the State.

For some office settings it can even be a positive, but because of how good it smells, it usually leaves you wanting more.Lagerfeld Classic smells like a semi-sweet, soft, powdery, citrusy/orange, leather, and tobacco fragrance. At any time in winter, in the fall, maybe even in the spring, I can imagine wearing it, especially in the evenings, for elegant attire.

The air is thick with a sense of sophistication, and you catch a whiff of intrigue that dances around you. And it doesn't remind me of any time, man or affair, just the memories that a really great scent evokes. The fragrance contains notes of hazelnut, bay leaf, lavender, oak, cedar, sandalwood, vanilla and moss. Let me put things staright: it's the new version that's unwearable: a sort of chemical, dirty citric blast that will offend everyone around you.

My point is the diluted Lagerfeld is still good and better than at least half of the current designer AND niche fragrances on the market.
