It’s so refreshing to see erotic artists genuinely invested in - and succeeding with- queer, body-positive, and sex positive comics!

Out of the 7 available shaft rotation patterns, only a couple really stood out to me… But, I really loved how much they spiced up the tip's more standard vibrating patterns!As a white man, I see myself in most things; my bisexuality would isolate me a little but even that has become more mainstream. The book reviews are solid though, and I definitely want to check them out (but not literally since my local library doesn't seem to have them).

I say perversions as a self-described pervert because there’s no shame allowed here, unless you’re into it and have laid out safe boundaries with your shame scene partners. Potential readers should note that while the main comic depicts sex acts for education and reviewing purposes, a few of the guest posts (at the back of this book) are purely erotica comics. Long story short (kinda), it IS safe to open your remote control as long as you’re being cautious of any kids around who could potentially choke on the removable parts! Occasionally there’s a product whose use is exclusively designed for those possessing a penis, at which point Erika’s husband Matthew Nolan supplies his thoughts.It also reviews books about sex and provides infinitely better sex education than any school ever has and talks about different kinds of relationships as well as sexual activity in general. I also really enjoyed Isabella Rotman’s “Harnessing Savings,” a how-to guide for constructing your own dildo harness. Oh Joy Sex Toy delivers basic information, tutorial-style, with enough salty talk to season the material. If it's a groupie nickname, I think a less accusatory one like 'sex fiends' or something would have sufficed. Sometimes they even went so far as to NOT recommend a toy (even if they really liked it) due to environmental concerns, and I think that's kind of wonderful.

I think the purpose of this is to make it more relatable than it would be if each comic was just Erika and Matt acting it out themselves. On the plus side, this book does well as a standalone, despite being the third in a series--this is my first encounter with the authors ever. Filled with positivity, terrible puns, and a diverse cast, Volume Two is an indispensable resource for anybody exploring comics or their own sexuality. Alas, no person has yet to fulfill this rim job vacancy… I can’t help but wonder… Is there a toy out there eager to get in on this back-door opportunity? They actually have in their house a dildo hutch to display all the toys and ones they do not really use too often. I always read new sex books, and if you are prude or not familiar with different sex lifestyles( and I mean DIFFERENT) you may want to steer clear of this one.
