About this deal

I am an intermittent user and pretty sure the weight won't be an issue, so will investigate the cordless guns.

We will exchange or refund within the first 30 days if a manufacturers fault is found with this product. loaded the right nails in, and fuel cell, pushed pin all the way up, and have been having problems firing nails already. Takes a zero degree plastic collated strip nail with a nail length variation from 15mm through to 40mm.it was a decent nailer but not great, it really slips quite a bit and you end up having a lot of mis fires, around 20%. The NR90GC2/J8 features a longer trigger stroke for safer use and a reduction in misfires, dry firing lockout again to help prevent accidental nail fire and a soft grip handle for improved control and reduce user fatigue. A single battery seems to last a day which was a nice surprise, as I thought they would drain much quicker in a gasless gun. The Hitachi NT65 GB Angled Finishing Nail Gun adds to this ease of use, accepting a 32mm-65mm 16 gauge angled nail range, a magazine capacity of 100 nails and a fuel cell capacity of up to 1200 nails, plus a charge time of a mere 60 minutes, gives you far less down time and more time on the job. it has fired 1 nail properly, and a few others that barely penetrated the wood and gave a very hard kick back.

Fat Llama is a peer-to-peer rental platform — we connect people who need stuff with people who have stuff.I use Paslode nails and gas because this is much easier to get than Hitachi's own brand consumables. You can change your choices at any time by visiting Cookie preferences, as described in the Cookie notice. This is the latest version (J8) of the popular NR90GC2 gun - now with Lithium-Ion batteries instead of NiCd. On Paslode guns they are notorious for blackening and giving a poor contact - which of course affects the fan.

I'll stop it down further and see if I can find anything, you don't have any advice on where to start looking do you? The HiKOKI (formerly known as Hitachi) NR90GC2/J8 cordless gas nail gun is a fantastic alternative to the Paslode IM350 nailgun.

Some manufacturers will offer a direct repair or replacement service (as applicable) which will often resolve your problem more quickly. Have fired around 4000 nails so far and only two misfires, both of which where related to the paper on the nails and not the gun, a quick push on the loader and it's back in action.
