About this deal

It contains of black currant, galbanum, bergamot, watermelon, magnolia, carnation, iris, mint, sage, lily-of-the-valley, cardamom, cedar, vetiver and tobacco. Longevity in perfumes refers to the duration of time that a fragrance remains detectable on the skin or in the air after it is applied. If you like Kenzo Pour Homme then definitely this is a blend you should try as the both are salty aromatics that fit the aquatic theme without being plain calone.

This scent comes off very dated it is strong with white floral notes ( a little too much for my taste) and on top of that you have a piercing iodine aquatic note. Insense Ultramarine is a focus group approved and confused back peddling exercise trying to desparately keep with the times with no regard for its almighty and glorious beginnings. Insense Ultramarine for men, a 1995 premiere, exemplifies the luxurious cachet of the famous French design house.

I have to admit that having worn the original Insense a bit uncomfortably and reading comments here and elsewhere on-line about Ultramarine's femininity had made me a bit hesitant to purchase this. In the air it’s fantastic but if you sniff your your wrist up close it’s very different, you got to give it room to breath.

I consider this one of the best I own, and naturally it will be worn more than others in my collection. This is a great choice if you are looking for a warm weather scent that does not smell like anything else in your collection, or if you want a easy-to-wear floral-based fragrance. Introducing Givenchy Insense Ultramarine EDT for Men, a captivating fragrance that exudes a sense of vibrant masculinity and invigorating freshness. and reading comments here and elsewhere on-line about Ultramarine's femininity had made me a bit hesitant to purchase this. But don’t worry, because this smell doesn’t remain for a long time on the skin, otherwise it would be too boring. Since many reviewers seem to like this fruity floral watermelon-y aquatic concoction, some will find my review somewhat offensive. When first applied it does have a really fruity opening, but that is where I think the similarities with the original end.

I have to admit that having originally worn the original Insense a bit uncomfortably (not anymore though! All perfume lovers owe it to themselves to track down the original Insense and REALLY experience what Givenchy set out to do in the first place. Old is indeed gold, and this fragrance proves that some scents never truly fade; they evolve, carrying with them the essence of our past and the emotions tied to those moments. How come the original Insense gets so much praise while this one gets overlooked so easily and even scorned? I purchased this blind year’s ago and to say it just wasn’t for me would be a massive understatement. It does replicate (to an extent) the sunshine serenity of the yellow and true Insensé but not its disarming charisma.
