The Samsung Chromebook 4 is a small but incredibly energy efficient laptop: improved battery performance ensures even longer battery life, allowing you to work in the morning in the evening on a single charge.

Its poor single-thread performance means it's slow in tasks like photo editing and file compression, while its awful multi-thread performance makes it terribly slow when multitasking and editing videos.Construction is the quality you'd expect from Samsung and the high grade alloy casing is far classier and tougher than plastic. Unfortunately, although the screen handles reflections very well, its low brightness makes it hard to use in very bright environments. Its slim and compact body is easy to grip, and the convenient build means you can use it anywhere – on the sofa, in bed or at your desk. Battery life is much better on the Samsung for light productivity, but the HP lasts longer for video playback.

It's a maddening bit of both in one, and even the device itself seems to get confused as to what it wants to be. Intel Gigabit Wi-Fi Network Hardware lets you surf the web, stream videos and listen to music faster. With curved edges and a silver hue, the Samsung Chromebook 4 looks a lot like the many MacBook copycats we've seen over the years. So, I cannot recommend anyone getting such a device as this, especially since it's tied to Google only.
