Duo Lining Fleece Blackout Lining, a very heavy weight full lining that is an interlined option with the 3 pass blackout lining attached. The Speedy Fineline light-weight metal curtain track is suitable for a combination of window curtains and for all weights of curtains ranging from a pair of light weight voile curtains to a pair of interlined heavy-weight curtains. Although the track has a low profile with a total height of 22mm (7/8") including the brackets, it is designed to support medium-weight curtains of up to 8kg. The width of the curtain track should extend past your window this allows for the curtains to stack back away from your window and allow light in.

The instructions for fitting could be a little better as the included pencil type images caused some head scratching when working out how to bend the rail but with a little thought it was relatively simple. Speedy Fineline Curtain Track is a lightweight aluminium track that bends easily by hand to fit into and out of most bay windows. The track can be ceiling or wall fixed and is ideal for straight or bay windows as this can be bent to shape by hand.

Suitable for supporting curtain weights of up to 5 kilos on the front and 5 kilos on the back (depending on the strength of your ceiling and fixings used). These brackets can also be used where the curtain track needs to be mounted away from the wall to clear on obstacle. For the second, successful bend I used a ceramic flower pot to get a nice round shape and that worked perfectly.This track is easy to install and can be bent in to shape by hand, making it ideal for both straight and bay windows, and for hanging light to heavy weight fabrics.

My greatest criticism of this product is the plastic spring clips which hold the track to the hangers. It will provide additional shade on standard fabrics and on dimout and blackout fabrics it is used to add a more luxurious feel. The double curtain track option can be used for multi layered curtains and if two of the tracks are used in unison then due to the easy to bend feature of the curtain track, the second track can be bent to the correct shape to become a valance track.The 3 pass coating is very hard wearing and provides a thermal benefit aswell as making your curtain drape better.

It has a weight limit of around 20kg per pair and will glide beautifully around your bay and bow windows. Measure the width of the actual recess plus an additional amount – Usually from 7cm-15cm whatever you think looks appropriate.

The track is available in a range of sizes, from 150-500cm, and is trimmable to ensure it fits any window perfectly. All supports and connectors attach to the top of the track which allows for the smoothing flowing system to work perfectly. The products were good quality, good value and the videos on bending aluminium tracks were very helpful. This extra distance is to take into account the space needed for the curtains to be drawn back on either side of the window. They come with a sheet of instructions which, apart from the print being too small, are clear and understandable.
