About this deal

With great humour, interesting chapters, and a great storyline, it is one of the best books I have ever read. It introduces a detective by the name of Daniel Hawthorne - a rather dark and dangerous man whom I actually met on the set of Injustice.

My initial fears that the story would be little more than an opportunity to play this joke out were soon proved unfounded. Tim is the world’s worst private investigator, so can the help of his clever younger brother Nick be enough to crack their toughest case yet?It is not included in promotions available to our main range products, as stated in our terms of service. Snape and the police suspect that the Falcon had stashes of uncut diamonds in many cities around the world, including London, which was the base of his operations. In 1991, The Diamond Brothers, a six-part television series written and directed by Horowitz himself, was broadcast on ITV.

The Fat Man, Herbert says, is the biggest criminal in England, involved in almost any crime there is – armed robbery, arson, theft and armed burglary are some of the things Herbert lists. The author builds bad tension in the book when a bomb is thrown into Nick Diamonds room and he almost dies, "The grenade hit the bed and bounced back toward the window. Snape – who could not stand Herbert during his service there – apparently forms a grudging respect for Nick when he realises how smart he is for his age. Beatrice von Falkenberg: The Falcon's Dutch wife, Beatrice von Falkenberg was once the greatest actress in the Netherlands. Following the main plot events, Nick and Tim finally managed to earn enough money to be able to fly out to Australia to visit at their parents for the first time since they had emigrated there, which was sometime prior to the events of The Falcon's Malteser.

The Diamond Brothers is a series of humorous children's detective books by Anthony Horowitz, recounting the adventures of the world's worst private detective, Tim Diamond, and his much more intelligent younger brother, Nick Diamond. Every so often an explanation was requested, as many of the puns and jokes are outside of a nine year olds experience! I hope, if you read it, you'll enjoy all the clues, the red herrings, the bizarre range of suspects and the occasionally violent twists.
