The artist is Peter Pracownik, a leading fantasy artist, well known throughout the world for his art, album covers and even t-shirts. All while some schmuck is standing in front of that 4000-degree inferno wearing a metal suit in hopes to rescue the fair maiden, heat-conducting metal shield and all. The book advises readers to use the book and cards as a guided meditation to bring about the full meanings of each card. The ace of wand: the dragon holding the wand is in an alchemists tower who are supposedly the one who did magic. Dragon Tarot draws upon the rich imagery of dragons in all their historical and mythological sources.
Perhaps somewhere in the mists of time it describes a place not too different from where we as a race of beings do come from.
Admittedly they are quite hard to understand and interpret in the beginning as some of the images are quite complex, especially to someone only beginning to read tarot. It seems like it could have been much longer, as I was a little confused by the somewhat random information provided about dragons at the front of the book. Original jewellery, accessories and giftware designed by our own alternative, talented team of artists, designers and sculptors. Following traditional Tarot symbolism, the Dragon Tarot by Peter Pracownik and Terry Donaldson is also designed for adventuring into the realms of the imagination and discovering ourselves more fully.
The use of many rich colors was something that I felt, at that point in time, many other decks didn't seem to have (although now I know otherwise). Many stories tell of men who battle against all obstacles to fight the scary dragons, get past them and gain access to the riches and wealth hidden in dragon dens.

I love the artwork and the colours are so vibrant and I think the artist has included minor points to do with the cards meaning. We have pulled together all of the legends of Dragons from around the world, from China to South America, and honored each of them. But that is not the whole story - dragons are complex creatures, and the beast is usually credited with cunning and often the power of speech - it is not just a brutal, terrifying monster. Anne Stokes' brush opens up the Arcana of the Tarot to this pure and fantastic force, which creates and destroys worlds every time the cards are shuffled and read.
In the outline of Dragonland, you will enter a world which, as it was experienced, we could almost see and feel with our physical senses.It details the authors experiences with Dragons, and gives valuable insight into the creation of the deck's imagery.
