About this deal

Unlike many other chemical sunscreens, it is highly stable but its UV absorbing abilities are weak so it always has to be combined with other sunscreen agents for proper protection. It's a highly stable but weak UVB absorber, that's often used as a photostabilizer in non-sunscreen proudcts. All medicines are dispensed in compliance with the Drugs and Cosmetics Act, 1940 and Drugs and Cosmetics Rules, 1945. It’s safe and gentle, but even more importantly, it’s not a feared-by-everyone-mostly-without-scientific-reason paraben.

Its protection is very good between 290 - 350 nm (UVB and UVA II range), and less good at 350-400 nm (UVA I) range. It combines antioxidant and stem cell ingredients to protect skin against environmental damage and to delay ageing process. It does have some very nice properties indeed, though famous dermatologist Leslie Baumann warns us in her book that most of the evidence is anecdotal and the plant might be a bit overhyped. Compared to the pure form it's more stable, has longer shelf life, but it's also more poorly absorbed by the skin.It protects against UVB, UVA II, and UVA I almost uniformly, and is considered to be the broadest range sunscreen available today. Other than having a good safety profile and being quite gentle to the skin it has some other advantages too. It can be used immediately after aesthetic treatments like skin laser, micro-needling, peels and facials.A physical/inorganic sunscreen with pretty broad spectrum (UVB and UVA II, less good at UVA I) protection and good stability. Safe and effective formulation: Free from toxins, fragrance, this sunscreen with PA++++ has a safe and effective formulation that delivers visible difference in 3-6 weeks.

The main concern with nanoparticles is that they are so tiny that they are absorbed into the skin more than we want them (ideally sunscreen should remain on the surface of the skin). It's a physical (or inorganic) sunscreen that has a lot in common with fellow inorganic sunscreen Titanium Dioxide (TiO2) but a couple of things make it superior even to TiO2.It's definitely one of the best UV-filter agents we have today, especially in the US where new-generation Tinosorb filters are not (yet) approved. At the same time, you aren’t just protecting your skin—you are protecting the planet from environmental harm, too. Babies and infants need special attention, as their skin is not able to fully synthesise melanin and is more fragile. It's definitely one of the best, or probably even the best option out there for sun protection available worldwide.

A recent, 2016 study shows that inorganic sunscreens work mostly by absorption, just like chemical filters, and only a little bit by reflection (they do reflect the light in the visible spectrum, but mostly absorb in the UV spectrum). More often than not, it's used as a photostabilizer rather than a proper sunscreen agent as it can protect formulas nicely from UV damage. The lightweight and non-greasy consistency makes it easy to apply the sunscreen, and it quickly absorbs into the skin without leaving a greasy or white film. It’s often used together with ethylhexylglycerin as it nicely improves the preservative activity of phenoxyethanol. A-Derma Sunscreen SPF50+ 250ml is a cream with high SPF50 filters specially formulated to protect skin with an atopic tendency. On the up side, sunscreens are pretty well regulated in several parts of the world, and BP-3 is considered " safe as used" and is an allowed sunscreen agent everywhere. The blue light from these devices not only disrupts our sleep cycle but also causes great damage to our skin. Our intro did get pretty big after all (sorry for that), so let's get to the point finally: sunflower oil - similar to other plant oils - is a great emollient that makes the skin smooth and nice and helps to keep it hydrated. To make it more stable it can be - and should be - combined with other sunscreen agents to give stable and broad-spectrum protection (the new generation sunscreen agent, Tinosorb S is a particularly good one for that). The sun filters included in sunscreen create a barrier on the skin that protects it from irritation, burns, allergies and redness.
