This is one of the first DJ units we've tested mainly through the built-in speakers, because they're honestly pretty good. The workflow becomes more effective when the music has been analyzed and organized on the computer via the Engine DJ software and exported from there to the medium of choice.The in built speakers are awesome also, not sure how they got that much bass from them but I dig it!

The SC Live 4 definitely has more in common with the Pioneer XDJ standalones than, say, the Prime 4 does, because of its club-like layout. I think either of these units would be a good choice for someone who wants DJ gear for their living room/home studio, that they can also livestream with, and play the occasional gig on.
Since the unit can control four decks (the "decks" have "layer" buttons that let you choose between decks 1 and 3 on the left deck and decks 2 and 4 on the right deck), it can get a little crowded. Streaming is now likely to sound even better than playing from a USB stick and is in prime position to become the favoured media choice!
