L'Aimant L'Aimant Perfume by Coty is a classic flowery fragrance mixing soft, rich floral scents that is womanly and elegant.

Coty's L'Aimant fragrance is a floral fragrance with notes of Rose, Orchid and Golden jasmine, which is all embraced by sandalwood and L'Aimant by Coty is a classic shimmering floral perfume that holds the comforting confidence of vintage.Featuring the Coty L'Aimant scent - a luxuriant combination of rose, orchid, and jasmine, delicately balanced with sandalwood and vanilla - this 50ml (1 fl. I have a 2018 version in the darling Art Deco bottle, and i find it potent, pleasant, and cleanly classic. Maybe it is also that I don't like lemon while I like peach and I find the Tonca Bean really interesting. Welcome to the most unsettling afternoon tea in an Engish rose garden of which you will ever partake. I love coty l'aimant one of my faves…I first smelt when I was around 15 and I wore it and I didn’t care because I smelt expensive lol it’s like Chanel no.

Anyways I digress, I guess we will never know for sure, that's the perfume business shrouded in secrecy and rumors and I think it all adds a bit of fun to it if we don't take it too seriously :) One thing that is for sure is that L'aimant and No 5 are extremely similar. I don't seem to have experienced any of the top notes; all the florals hit full force when I applied the cologne. L'Aimant is classy, sweet, pretty and although normally I prefer Orientals and deeper statement fragrances, it's just as much a statement to wear softer fragrances like this one. This iconic fragrance embodies sophistication and allure, presenting a delicate blend of floral and powdery notes. It's a nice enough fragrance -- probably best for evening because of the intensity of the florals -- but I won't be going out my way to get more of it.Update: I have to say that in the heat of summer humid days I prefer this one to Chanle No 5 Eau Premiere. L'Aimant is a sweet, aldehydic floral perfume with a 1950's boudoir air despite it's biggest success selling in the 1920's and later reformulated and reissued in the 1980's. It's day wear stuff so it matches up with blouses, dressy shirts, something semi formal or even business formal business casual. The peach and sandalwood are most noticeable, yet overall this is so well blended the notes do not stand out. I'm not sure if it's been reformulated or if my tastes have changed, but it seems to have lost a dreadfully cloying aspect that the 80's-90's formulation had.

This was the scent everyone reached for when they didn't know what to choose for an important date/occasion.

and is quite nice, but it's not really my style so I passed it onto a lady who helps to care for my mum. It could never become one of my truly favourite fragrances because it’s just a tad too sweet and simple to totally wow me; but it is soft, and romantic, and luxurious. Notes for L’Aimant (cribbed from at least three different sources) include aldehydes, bergamot, neroli, plum, apricot, strawberry, violet, rose, ylang, jasmine, iris, oakmoss, sandalwood, vetiver, vanilla, although I don’t smell all of those notes.
