I’m sure I’m not alone when looking at pictures of signs with descriptions, in questioning if I’m doing it correctly and the video clips gave me the reassurance I needed. Fine motor skills are a crucial foundation for writing and drawing but also enable increased independence for those skills we need throughout life – the ability to dress ourselves (zips and buttons), brushing teeth – and later on, better control with cookery skills like chopping and peeling.
