About this deal

I suppose time will tell as to how long it will live for but given the abuse it's received to date without missing a beat the odds are looking good however I will adjust this review if it does die a premature death so if you are reading this then it's still going strong. Features one-hand grip and low vibration, enabling comfortable working in horizontal, vertical and overhead positions. The Velcro sanding disk is actually easy to fit, just make sure to align the holes which is straight forward using the naked eye. I would recommend using this on larger heaftier projects with larger surface areas rather than smaller little projects. Choosing your power source: 240v tools are used with normal mains power whilst 110v tools are used on construction sites for safety reasons. As I said above I wasn't expecting much with this sander given it has received it's fair share of negative reviews on here but given it was from Bosch a brand a normally trust and it was cheap enough especially compared to other big brand sanders I decided to roll the dice on it.The unit is lightweight, compact and can even be used one-handed, making it ideal for fatigue-free working overhead. Comfortable one-handed use in horizontal, vertical, and overhead positions is made possible thanks to the compact, lightweight design, palm grip handle, and low vibration. Don't apply any more pressure than is necessary to stop it wandering around, take it slow and easy and, if sanding wood, work along the grain.

The Bosch Home and Garden Random Orbit Sander PEX 220 is a reliable and powerful tool for any DIY enthusiast or professional. I was pretty surprised when I saw how much sawdust came out of it after I'd finished my work which, in this case (for the cutting board project) involved multiple sanding with various grit sandpaper, starting at 80 and finishing at 240. The Purbeck School, Dorset "Thanks for touching base, we are extremely happy at our end pricing is excellent compared with other suppliers. The dust extraction system is efficient, keeping your work area clean and reducing the amount of dust in the air. An introduction to orbital sanders: Some orbital sanders use third or half sandpaper sheets and are especially popular with decorators.I recently purchased the Bosch Home and Garden Random Orbit Sander to tackle some sanding projects around my home, and I couldn't be happier with my purchase. However, the lack of speed control on the sander means you cant make those adjustments the way you would like for small projects. Your expertise at Tilgear is something I value greatly, especially when it comes to selecting the right tools and equipment for our school's needs. it leaves a nice finish on the wood and is hard to mess it up with this sander as its light, easy to use and never feel like its out of controll. Some of the smaller round pad orbital sanders can also be used single handed for more detailed work.

An amazing experience so far 10/10 for service I must admit" - D Shah, Designed with Elegance UK "I have used Tilgear to supply us with goods since 2014 when I started as a Construction Technician. A random orbit sander for producing an exceptionally fine, high-performance sanding finish and also functions as an effective polisher. The random orbit motion ensures a smooth and even sanding finish, while the variable speed control allows for precision and control over the sanding process. As a DT Technician in the Technology Department at Millais School, my role here involves ensuring our department is well-equipped and functioning smoothly, which naturally leads me to rely on quality suppliers and efficient service. Overall : I think if you could spend a bit more for the more advanced sander from Bosch, then it would be better in many aspects. design is a food factor for this as its not too clunky yet not to small where you cant grip it properly , its a decent size and when you are holding it it's not uncomfortable as it has a rubberised grip which helps with your hands.

Having since moved on to two additional colleges I’ve always made sure we did business with Tilgear. The item is lightweight and can easily be operated with only one hand and fits in your palm nicely so feels comfortable to hold. I thought that it might be a bit under powered at 220w but I was pleasantly surprised at it's power and whilst it is easy for me to control with one firm hand it does take a bit of pressure to keep it under control. loop backing pad, sanding sheet, adjustable D handle with additional side handle and 3M cable with BS plug.I wouldn't replace all my sanders for this, but i would definitely go and grab this first for a project as it's a good all rounder which is usually what you want. North Berwick High School, East Lothian "All received and mechanical department are happy with the bits.
