About this deal

I have a passion for exploring new decks and also finding various ways of connecting to my intuition. My first Tarot deck that I purchased was from the late 90s, and that is still in great condition, as I am very careful with the deck. Of all of them, I’ve found the Aquarius to be the most satisfying as a mini-deck because most of the images are from a ‘close-up’ perspective, making it easier to read every detail at the smaller size (the Morgan-Greer deck which came out in 1979 had a similar approach, is also available in a tin, and consequently also works well at this size, but it’s a little ‘over-the-top’ for my taste).

The book creates a bridge between psychic development, healing work and the esoteric wisdom in the tarot. Throw out the minor arcana and you have something very close to a travel version of an Oswald-Wirth deck. When you look at The Star card in the Aquarian Tarot Deck, you’ll notice that the traditional nude woman with her two jugs is missing. The compelling imagery in this best-selling tarot deck brings medieval tarot symbolism into the modern Aquarian age. They are easy to use in that they keep much of the symbolism and colours as the more traditional older decks. In this post, I take a deeper look into the Aquarian Tarot deck – who created it, what makes it special, and how to interpret it in your Tarot readings. The compelling art deco imagery of the iconic Aquarian Tarot, first introduced in 1970, is now presented in a charming keepsake tin.

The best-selling Aquarian Tarot deck is illustrated by David Palladini, and combines Art Deco and Art Nouveau styles to bring medieval Tarot symbolism into the modern Aquarian age.Disclaimer: Divination and spell-related items are for entertainment purposes only, and must meet Etsy's Seller Policy.

This may not be the easiest to just pick up for those who are not used to having to rely too heavily on intuition, but with practice and an open mind, it can quickly become a gentle favorite. When you look at the characters’ expressions, they seem stone faced and introspective…which can be pretty frustrating during a Tarot reading! First introduced in 1970, this now-classic Tarot deck brought Medieval tarot symbolism into the modern Aquarian age. It’s not enough to receive answers – you also need courage, motivation and empowerment to take steps based on those answers. The bright and powerful star in the distance reminds you that all of your desires are possible and within reach. To calculate the overall star rating and percentage breakdown by star, we don’t use a simple average. If you’re looking around for mini-decks in general, I strongly advise you to get an edition which comes in a tin. If you’ve already done that, your item hasn’t arrived, or it’s not as described, you can report that to Etsy by opening a case. However, the Aquarian Tarot Deck can also be good for beginners, particularly those who have an urge to dig deeper into each card. We may think we’re all on the leading edge now, but did you know that nearly half a century ago, there was one deck that really turned the tables on how Tarot cards were seen?
