Against All Odds includes the perspective of both Ellie and her mother Yvonne, making Ellie's story the perfect read for parents and carers of those with disabilities or those who, like Katie Piper OBE, are passionate about championing the most vulnerable in society. This was not the case for his brethren in care with him and it would have made for a much more insightful piece if we could have been given a feeling for what it was like being inside some of their heads.
