Our reclaimed 500L solid oak large Whiskey Barrels have been used in some of Scotland’s distilleries and still have the aroma of the whiskey that was once aged in them! As well as being extracted from the grapes during fermentation, tannins are also found in the wood, so that the wine acquires the aromas even during its stay in the barrels or barriques.
