About this deal

I've been installing high end kitchen cabinetry for years and for the last ten years or so I've used a pin nailer for installing prefinished moldings of all shapes and sizes. This pin nailer is designed to work with nails between 15 and 35mm in length, offering versatility for a range of projects. Instead of temporarily nailing it, I would try to figure out some way to hold it together with clamps.

The P6 Series comes in seven different designs: P630, P635, P645, P645L, P650, P650L and the P650LX.Locktite is great for this against ceilings and flat cabinet faces but requires a gap so it doesn’t work too well for ends/miters. When I have the room between crown and ceiling I will use the Grex on the large crown and then come back with a bead of liquid nails on the back side of the crown where it meets the cabinet.

The Hikoki NP18DSALW4Z 18V 23 Gauge Pin Nailer is a lightweight and compact piece of equipment, ideal for working with nails between 15 and 35mm in length.

There is manufacturer warranty for this product which covers all manufacturing defects for the normal lifetime of the tool but does not cover wear and tear or damaged cause by misuse. You can probably do what you need using some combination of regular clamps, scrap wood, corner clamps, and/or these corner clips from Rockler. It's made out of veneered 3/4" plywood, 1/2" plywood, and some 2x4" and 2x2"s in unobtrusive places. I need something to hold 3/4" plywood in place sturdily enough that I can keep my angles correct and mark it; but loosely enough I can take it apart easily.

Our Grade 304 Standard Stainless Steel finish pins are available in 12mm, 18mm, 25mm, 30mm, 35mm and 40mm lengths. Adding the 'L' (Auto Lock-Out) to the grex P650L means: Less rework, less down time, and less tool and project damage. Very little evidence is left behind on the workpiece due to the lack of a head and the tiny diameter of the pin. Understand the ‘cut’ of the nail, which will affect how they go awry and possibly break through your sheet goods where you don’t want them. They are galvanised and corrosion resistant and should not be compared to budget pins found elsewhere. Also, the head of the brad, if not shot with the grain, will sometimes cause the wood to blow out on each side of the head. This pin nailer also boasts a dial adjustment feature, allowing you to control the driving depth for optimal results. Other features including visual reload indicator, adjustable depth of drive and large capacity magazine reduce downtime and offer convenience to the user.
