About this deal

New: A brand-new, unused, unopened and undamaged item in original retail packaging (where packaging . It does last, does not smudge and the lashes look great but the problems for me were in the application and removal. you only need one coat or else the formula clumps and the warm water removal, great idea, but takes for ever and you have to be care ]ful you don't pull any lashes out. Even after a long day at work this product has never transferred to my under eye and when getting caught in the rain it never runs down may face!

BROWN: Aqua (Water), PPG-17/IPDI/DMPA copolymer, Cera alba (Beeswax), Nylon 6/12, Butylene glycol, HDI/trimethylol hexyllactone crosspolymer, Copernicia cerifera (Carnauba) wax, Cetearyl alcohol, Euphorbia cerifera (Candelilla) wax, Paraffin, Steareth-21, Phenoxyethanol, Panthenol, Methylparaben, Caprylyl glycol, Hydroxyethylcellulose, Xanthan gum, Ethylparaben, Silica, Ethylhexylglycerin, Tetrasodium EDTA, CI 77499 (Iron oxides), CI 77491 (Iron oxides), CI 77492 (Iron oxides).

You do need a couple of coats for BIG lashes but I think that is worth it considering so many other mascaras give me black marks on my eyelids where my eyelashes hit the eyelid - none of that with this mascara - you can get seriously sweaty and it wont budge. You can put a different "fan out" mascara on later in the day/night if you require a bigger effect such as a night out or whatever but I never bother, I just use some eyeliner, top up any gaps with this and off I go! If like me you are after a mascara that will stay all day or all night regardless of tears or sweating down the gym, swimming or on the bike (or just general overheating) THIS is the product for you! It did take a bit of getting used to after being accustomed to dissolving mascaras with oil cleansers/micellar water.

With this in mind I would only recommend this if smudging is one of your main concerns with mascara, as the application can be a bit tricky and it is hard to get lots of volume without your lashes clumping. When removing it, the mascara breaks down easily and into little flakes which took some getting used to.

It doesn't smudge so that was awesome but I felt like my eyelashes looked thin it didn't add any volume. Be aware though it isn’t a completely budge proof mascara, it’s not swim proof and if your eyes water then you rub them then the tubes will start to slide off. Mascara that lasts through whatever life throws at you, it's: smudge proof flake proof sweat proof humidity proof tearproof . However it always irritates my eyes, it makes them water for ages after putting it on and is almost impossible to get off without irritating my eyes further.

Not only do I love mascara as it literally does not budge but it also holds my curl which I was pleasantly surprised about as I usually need to use a waterproof mascara to hold my curl or my lashes will go straight but with this my lashes don't go straight. This ‘upgrade’ is awful: clumpy, difficult to apply and almost impossible to remove without pulling out lashes.

Which from memory, is possibly why I didn’t repurchase this the first time I used it all those years ago. You do have to make sure to saturate the cotton pad with enough water and not to drag on the lashes too much. IT IS TOTALLY SMUDGE PROOF HOLDS ON UNTIL REMOVED EITHER WITH SOAP/WATER OR MICELLAR WATER - HOLD DOWN COTTON WOOL PAD FOR MOMENT AND THEN WIPE OFF.I found waterproof mascaras marginally better and they held the curl better when I curled my lashes.
