About this deal

Sillage is soft to moderate, lasts 3 hours on me, but all perfumes have low longevity on me so don't make conclusions based on that. May be I'm not so much in fruit banana scents I prefer more floral scents or fruit scents with another composition.

Mind you, if you're under 25 and have no experience with 90s white flower classics, you may not like it, but LiP is still quality scent that doesn't smell cheap. It's very soft scent, slightly sweet and stays rather close to the skin even though the scent is fairly long lasting.Long walks along softly lit cobblestone streets, gazing out onto the Seine, holding hands across the table in cafes, a first kiss under the Eiffel Tower. On my skin this fragrance its juicy pear, peach and sugary banana, in really pretty combination with star anise, musk, and violet. For me, its quite average in terms of projection, more non-offensive day-time frag with a beautiful sparkly flowery-peachy heart and just enough depth to be much more interesting compared to the sea of white flower day frags currently out there. The rose and peony in this aren't just fresh and clean, they're so soapy it feels scratchy in my nose. It opens with a fresh, floral-fruity, juicy wave (I feel the peony mixed with green banana and citrus notes), then comes the peony-rose duet (the citrus note still lingers around), and I guess this stage gives that classic impression.

I believe that it doesn't go smoothly with every skin type: your own personal chemistry is the most important factor. It's quite difficult to find a decent banana fragrance these days and especially one that is mixed with florals as opposed to sickly gourmands! Some days it smells so wonderful to me- rosy, peachy, super feminine and sophisticated other days it smells like a boring old lady who showered in rose oto and hairspray.

At first, it seemed too floral for my taste, which usually falls for the sweeter and more gourmand type of scent. When I need something light but with good staying power, something classy but not in your face, I use this fragrance and it makes my day. No doubt it's a solid fragrance-nothing about this could be at all offensive--however, it's not at all original or memorable. You know the cliche story - American exchange student comes to Paris, meets a chivalrous French boy in class. Top notes are Peach, Peony, Banana, Pear, Rose, Star Anise and Bergamot; middle notes are Apricot, Anise, Jasmine and Violet; base notes are Musk and Woodsy Notes.

Love it forever) It's a pity that the pyramid has become somewhat simpler since then - maybe my skin and sense of smell have changed together: unfortunately, it happens. It´s sparkling spring or early autumn scent which opens up with yummy sweet fruit and romantic feminine flowers- rose and peony.

I rather "see" those huge flower fields in Provence, a beautiful sunset, a romantic, dreamy mood and a warm, caring hug. Love, Bond’s Chinatown, Guerlain’s Anisia Bella show some riffs on similar compositional themes without repetition or monotony. If categorising fragrances, I would put Love In Paris next to Marc Jacobs Blush and Guerlain Champs Elysees. You won't leave someone thinking about you wearing this one, but, at least while you are in the moment, it is beautiful. The perfume composition is based on an unsurpassed combination of floral and woody accords intertwined with musk, oleander, centifolia rose, pink pepper and rose hips. Infact, the initial opening was so intense that it reminded me of Versace Vanitas (for all of 5 minutes). If I hadn't read the notes I would have sworn it was citrus based, with lemons, grapefruit or quince starring, cause I feel there is something a tad tart/almost sour about this fume. that will keep you smileing and enjoying the mix of flower scent, golden sunlight, energetic air and fresh soft stroking gras.
