About this deal
I've been trying out all the different oat barista milks and i'm extremely disappointed with Mighty as it's weak, curdles, tastes crap etc.
When I made up a bottle in the fridge, I found it wasn't nice though - I really wanted it to be, so I could take this away, but I wouldn't waste cereal with it. Two UK brands — MIGHTY and Overherd — are set to launch oat milk powders in a bid to make plant-based milks even better for the environment.
Given my genius memory I actually have 3x 1kg bags of peas I my freezer at the moment so I may well look into pea milk. For those who only use plant milks occasionally — including consumers and businesses such as cafes — the powdered product could reduce waste. It’s naturally sweet from the oats (we don’t add any sugar or sweeteners) and it’s super easy mixing so you don’t have to worry about grainy textures. Personally I don’t like sweet tea and it makes tea taste too sweet for my liking, almost like sugar has been added.
Oat flour is a flour made from ground rolled oats without anything added or done to treat the oats in the process – its primarily used for baking breads and cakes. lk that makes the perfect vegan coffee creamer - simply stir our oat powder directly into your coffee and tea.
I bought two cases of the chocolate pea milks and no matter how hard I shake them they have lots of white lumps/flakes floating in them, some of which are quite large!
