I love this book, and those words about it are amazing not just for children, but and essencialy for all of us. We have been reading this to my daughter since her birth, and she enjoys the stories and illustrations very much.Besides, this book isn't the Bible, it's a paraphrase for children; neither is it a replacement for godly parenting - it's a resource for godly parents to use - among others that discuss aspects like obedience. But when I reread the story through the lens of how I would tell it to children, I didn’t know what to leave in and what to take out. It is an excellent, clear retelling of significant parts of the Bible in simple straightforward language. That—in spite of everything, no matter what, whatever it cost him—God won't ever stop loving his children . Each story in The Jesus Storybook Bible has a gentle reminder that Jesus has been with us since the creation of earth.This would be an easy fix if they displayed only one page at a time, but being a children's book with pictures, they opted to display two at all times.
