Sweet intense aromas of caramel and vanilla arrive on the nose, which mix with complex aromas of ripe fruit, with exotic flashes, with hints of toasted wood and a fragrant spice. Crafted with a high proportion of Irish pot still whiskey and a rare small batch grain whiskey, this blend undergoes a unique double charred process, giving the whiskey its signature richness and intensified smoothness. I am an experienced whisky drinker and have a large collection and quite honestly this whisky is very poor. Time spent maturing in these barrels lends this whiskey intensified notes of vanilla sweetness and caramel, alongside toasted wood, fruit and warm spice, an embellished finish to our triple distilled smoothness.
