About this deal
Alice moves to London, she finds herself a little flat, becomes friendly with her neighbour Naomi and she struggles to find a job. Alice has the skill to visualise in colours and fights through life coming from a suboptimal family.
For me, the story moved at a good pace, covering relationships and life, without the content becoming entrenched in the details, that the reader is able to fill for themselves; the style of narration allows the reader to sense the weight and impact of Alice's decisions. The protagonist experiences auras and the author considers how this affects her life in this enjoyable story. In a Thousand Different Ways by Cecelia Ahern was published in Australia by Harper Collins and is now available. The book discusses everything from self-discovery to complicated family relationships, neglectful parents, and a love story. Alice Kelly’s been given a gift, though if you were to ask Alice about it, she wouldn’t describe it as a gift….
Both novels were adapted to films; PS I Love You starred Hilary Swank and Gerard Butler, and Love, Rosie starred Lily Collins and Sam Claflin.
Leider muss ich sagen, dass sich Alle Farben meines Lebens teilweise gezogen hat, aber das Hörbuch ist toll gesprochen und die Geschichte geht wirklich ins Herz. Furthermore, I liked how the relationship between Alice and Lily progresses throughout the book, and I think it was handled brilliantly.
