The opening isn't mind blowing but certainly is pleasant- It's a light and fizzy mix of spices and aromatics which gives way quickly to the mid. This fragrance lasts a good 8-10 hours with 1-2 feet of projection on my skin on merely just 2 sprays to each side of the neck.

I wish I had got the bottle with the matte black finish on the sides but regardless of that the scent is really nice. This is one of those fragrances where it's so light you can spray to your hearts content and never be in danger of it becoming cloying.Its very well blended and the tonka its well balanced,so im not going to make a mountain out of molehill. As a female this was one of my top favorite male fragrances but unfortunately, my husband didn't prefer it (he likes fresher).

While not a projection powerhouse like Sauvage Elixir, it aligns more with the intimacy of YSL Lanuit De L'Homme, proving that longevity is not a shortcoming, but rather a deliberate design choice for an enduring, close-quarters allure. It is a classy, effortless, addictive, and versatile fragrance for a young modern man, suitable for any occasion. I thought my collection was done but after sampling this I would probably place it in 4th place of must have perfumes for me (after naxos, oud wood and bdc parfum).

I’m going to be on the hunt for a brown cap bottle, but confident this will remain a firm favourite. It's a charismatic scent that I think could be pulled off by a woman as well, as I don't feel like I've put on someone else's perfume when I spray it on my skin. It has a crisp, woody, bitter citrus sharpness to counterbalance the sweet almond and other creamy notes.

An actual "for him" take on Moschino - Toy Boy that doesn't exist - without the sourness from what I suspect the pear note gave. IDK, My first experience with Guerlain besides testing the EDP which lasts longer by far but do not like the smell as much. I doubt you'll get any complements unless you hug lots of people or are constantly in other peoples personal space. The vanilla gives the cherry and almond a creaminess which is just infection, whilst the spice and citrus round it nicely and it only gets better as it dries.For an untrained nose like mine, the cherry together with the incense and the spices could be mistaken for a sweet and fruity tobacco note. This is maybe the best smelling cologne I've ever had so I can get past the weaker sillage and longevity because I can get whiffs of myself for 3-4 hrs. The creamy almond and cherry note is beautiful, it’s marketed as a men’s fragrance but even my wife said this can definitely go unisex and I agree. This captivating amber woody fragrance capitalises on a more intense version of the original cologne, L'Homme Ideal Cologne. They increased the level of almond and leather but also reduced the level of citruses, vetiver and tonka bean.
