About this deal

A no-brainer for someone like me who loves walking outdoors, adores the sea, finds birdsong soothing! As an adult reader, I found the book a bit slow to start, but it's definitely a nice, chill summer read.

Sami is struggling with his anxiety and worried that he’ll miss the karate tournament that he’s trained so hard for. And, of course, for fans of LFATZ and LFMTM, Hanna Chen, animal rights activists, struggling with her relationship with her father.Departing India prior to the grounding of flights in March, Sam documented the eerie calmness of Bristol during the first lockdown, before venturing to Europe via an empty ferry as restrictions eased. And of course high jinks entail, ventures into off limits areas possibilities of missing their flights, worried parents, and just a whole lot of fun. Her prescriptions here, delivered with kindness, are as ancient as they are new, and filled with the spirit of rebirth.

Interacting with the outdoors can ground us, offer us a sense of security, deepen the roots of resilience, and enhance our sensory awareness that contributes to feeling fully alive. Liz Zorab also tells the story of how she transformed her life, overcoming the effects of chronic illness to develop a self-sufficient, independent lifestyle. And perhaps that's where the strength of this book lies, in it's ability to be picked up when there is a feeling of disconnect and to offer up some guidance. I am based on the edge of the Peak District, Derbyshire, UK, working out how to live a place-based life. There is history and meaning encoded into the lands and places we live in, if only we take the time to look. I found the section on making meaning toward the end of the chapter on mystery particularly impactful. Claire is the Clinical Director of CHEW Initiatives, helping parents and professionals understand and know what to do to best help the children they are worried about. It’s an ideal book to have on the coffee-table to provide a fast-fix dose of escapism; it’s pretty to look at, and contains plenty of mindfulness tenants to ease you through the day. Mt first book was published by Welbeck in 2021 and has since has critical and commercial success in the UK, US, Australia, France, Germany and the Netherlands.

to DIY activities (bring nature indoors with a windowsill herb garden) to coloring pages, inspirational quotes, and more, this book is an inspiration and a love letter to the natural world. This is the most ‘real’ book I have read in awhile where it actually references social media and young teens.I'm not sure if it's the timing, the way it speaks or the beautiful photography, probably all 3, as this book connected with me on a deep level and it's one I'll keep picking up to reread I'm certain. Follow along, discover with interest and awe the expansion of your ecological self, and breathe it in deeply. and Then the Pandemic considers the time leading up to the COVID-19 pandemic and the ensuing global plummet in commercial flight. I cried at the ownership of identity, the pureness of friendship, the acceptance of the flaws and strengths of those closest to us, the love of family and that this book is written by four incredible Muslim women authors for Muslim kids to be seen and for non Muslims to see Muslim kids in action in a fantastic, non preachy, authentic, powerful engaging story.
