The 28mm's roll so fast and they make easy work of the terrible state of the pot holed roads in the UK, where I would smash over them normally on 25's, the 28's are real luxury.

The increased tread puncture resistance mostly comes from the slightly thicker tread we find on the 5000 AllSeason TR, and this also means there is more tread to wear down.
