It is a popular lens because of the sharp and detailed images it can produce as well being a common go-to lens because its focal range provides an angle of view that is similar to that of the human eye. Between you and me I was a bit afraid to use this lens too much for street photography because I didn’t want it to start affecting the way I shoot, it’s that good!

One of the better lenses out there in terms of just how close you can get to the lens while still being able to focus. The lens features the smallest diameter of the line-up and thanks to the inner focus system and stepping motor, it achieves an autofocus time of just 0. Even at f2, the Fujifilm 35mm can create sharp shots with creamy backgrounds photographers lust after.I’m not going to talk a whole lot about the technical aspects of the Fujinon XF 35mm f/2 R WR lens, as that information is already plentiful on the internet. I like to have a 35mm lens in my walk around bag, but I constantly forget to put it in my working bag and only realise when I reach in there for it, and usually when I really need that focal length. With a very even and impressive performance, weather resistance, great handling and high-quality finish it would be hard not to like this Fujifilm XF 35mm f/2 R WR lens. Half depress the shutter to autofocus on the subject and then fine adjustments can then be made using the manual focus ring.

If you were shooting with one of Fujifilm’s 16MP cameras you will not notice the diffraction as much and as the pixels are much larger.Thank you for the great review, i just wondering if you have tried it to make a video using this 35mm f/2 lens.
