While it doesn't delve deeply into emotions, it provides an enjoyable and straightforward escape into the world of second chances in love. He acted like a knight in shining armor, intervening at the right time to save Ama's day and her career. And yeah i get it she had her own insecurities m̶o̶r̶e̶ l̶i̶k̶e̶ m̶i̶s̶c̶o̶n̶c̶e̶p̶t̶i̶o̶n̶s̶ she saw her mom getting married for several times hence she started believing that every marriage ends up like this and was legit scared of commitments. He talks his mind, asks for what he wants and offers others what he thinks they want if communication is off the table for that person and let me tell you what a big turn on it is.

I don't want to dwell on it, but I just wanted to let y'all know I'm still alive (if very very distracted). While there is a conflict, I mean it is a second chance after all, it felt realistic and actually made sense to the plot. It read like a fun, heartfelt, romantic movie (think Bride Wars, 27 Dresses, that kinda thing) and I read it in two sittings.I enjoyed all the thought and detail that was put into this book and as I said, the sweet moments Ama and Elliot did have together were very touching and almost made up for all of it.

The past is only told in Elliot’s POV, and the present is only told in Ama’s POV, which is SUCH AN EXPECTED BUT AMAZING CHOICE! The "Wedding Planner meets Bed of Roses" storyline is also alluring and captivating enough to make you root for the entire execution! The story is about Ama Torres, who became a wedding planner because she planned many of her mom’s sixteen weddings. I will also check out Soto’s other novels in the future as this was a sexy and romantic novel that I couldn’t put down.Julie Soto’s novel Forget Me Not is a perfect blend of spice and romance about a second chance romance set in Sacramento, California. it also felt like it took tooo long for us to get to the end and then when we got there, it was so quick. Sparks fly, hearts get entangled, memories resurface and they are at the beginning again, falling in love all over.
